Interserve into liquidation

Another wonderful example of right wing idealistic outsourcing of public services.
Oh how much more efficient than when we had direct labour.
I guess the taxpayer will, as usual pick up the losses whilst the directors etc have had their nose in the trough in the past.

Re: Interserve into liquidation

Another one of Graylings failings and yet he is still in post, This has to be the most incompetent money grabbing government we ever had.

Re: Interserve into liquidation

My son (electrician) took his redundancy from Interserve/How Group four months ago after working for them for over 25 years. He was given the nod about what was coming.

Re: Interserve into liquidation

You're absolutely spot on about outsourcing and PFI was the most stupid idea from both an ideological & financial point of view.

However the reason that the Tories & Labour Party was able to swing to outsourcing was because direct labour was so inefficient and over priced

Unfortunately the people who were unable to control their own staff were even less capable of preventing private industry for taking their eyes out.

Re: Interserve into liquidation

No shortage of funds for those at the top , as usual...

£half a million for four months...

Interserve chief executive Debbie White pocketed £525,900 in salary and benefits in the four months since joining the company at the start of September to the end of 2017.
