Re: I am telling you I am innocent

"Dog whistle politics " by the "losers" ..... If there had been any evidence of voter fraud these "losers" would have presented it to the police, and they would be involved...just a smear.....

Especially Rich a UKIP supporter posts a complaint on an excon returning to political life.... They have Tommy Robinson as an adviser ........

Labour.... Won get over it, just sour grapes smears, as Peterborough's election has the least chance of any of voter fraud ......as presently on a scheme that already combats voter fraud .....

The Peterborough city council chose to be part of the scheme to combat voter fraud launched by the Cabinet Office in which the city brought in tougher measures to strengthen its postal and proxy voter process even further.

These include officers hand delivering postal voting packs and completing face to face surveys with postal voters to stress the importance of completing the vote themselves.

Then a second round of face to face surveys are to be completed after the postal vote returns ...............to check residents put an X in the box themselves. All surveys will be completed at random computer generated addresses throughout the city.

The proxy vote was also being strengthened, with all proxy voters required to produce photographic identification at polling stations before being issued with a ballot paper to vote on another’s behalf.

Individuals without photographic ID where offered by Peterborough Town Hall prior to the elections taking place.

So its no coincidence that a smear story is being run by and alongside anti Antisemitism smears of JC in the same right wing rag who itself is far from clean when it launched a vicious anti-Semitic smear of Ed Miliband’s late father.

Labour branded the allegation ‘false and baseless’ yesterday, saying that he was ‘not involved in the running of Labour’s campaign in any way’.

Party sources also claimed it was ‘factually incorrect’ to claim Labour had won because of the Muslim vote, pointing out that Peterborough was ‘82.5 per cent white’.

Do you have a link proving he was hired by Labour...

At our local counts the public attend , if there is room and they conduct themselves properly .

You need to move to an area with better behaved electorate .

Steve
LOL! This is just too funny for words, using stuff written by the DM to substantiate what you've written/claimed!!!!

Here's a couple of the passages quoted from Your link:

"Labour branded the allegation ‘false and baseless’ yesterday, saying that he was ‘not involved in the running of Labour’s campaign in any way’."

Well they would say that, wouldn't they... If, Mahmood was Not 'involved in any way", he quite simply would Not have been at the Count, never mind all the other allegations of meddling laid against him! If he had obtained permission to be at the count, he would Not have been allowed to wear a rosette, observers Must be totally impartial.

"Peterborough Council said the postal vote system had been ‘tightened up’, with Peterborough having a ‘national reputation’ for its work to deter electoral fraud’"

LOL & Double LOL! Peterborough Council is on the Most susceptible to Electoral Fraud on HM Gov list & was due to be part of the Pilot scheme to tackle electoral Fraud, where a Valid ID would have to be presented at the Polling Station .... But, somebody in stopped that from happening....

"At our local counts the public attend , if there is room and they conduct themselves properly ."

I have, a long time ago; managed a Polling Station & taken part at 'the count' on more than one occasion. Here's some bumf on who can attend Polling Stations & The Count:

"Admittance to the general public is not provided under electoral law. The Returning Officer permits accredited media to attend."

Public attendance

Here is some bumpf for you UK General Election 2017: When does the count begin? What is a returning officer? Who counts at the General Election? Who is allowed at the count? What is the closest result? All you need to know about the Election count - BT

Who is allowed to be at the general election count?
Electoral staff – returning officers and counters – are of course allowed at the count. Additionally, each candidate, their election agent and one other individual they nominate is entitled to attend.

As for the media and members of the public, it is up to the returning officer to decide whether to allow them to attend. The returning officer has the final decision about who attends the count

As said , move to a more reasonable area , the public is admitted hereabouts .

The Returning Officer has strict legal guidelines to follow. He/she can't just allow any old lag to roam around!

Re: I am telling you I am innocent

Good!

"Police are now investigating five electoral fraud allegations relating to the recent Peterborough by-election.

The number of investigations has risen from two earlier in the week and includes one message shared on social media allegedly showing someone bragging that he and two others had ‘burned more than 1,000 votes for the Brexit Party’."
