Labour heading for remain, Conservatives on leave...........Come 1st Nov if Johnson hasn't taken the UK out, a GE with Labour IMO thinking they're on a good footing will be inevitable but I don't think they are on such a good footing. Enter the Brexit Party into mainstream UK politics.

It is difficult for anyone to understand what is going on in the UK Ė how does one rationalize lunacy?

Imo decisions of such gravity should not be left to the public. I might have argued that the decision should be left to parliament but seems self-interest would prevail. This whole mess seems to have devolved into party politics rather than any advantages/disadvantages to the UK.

The negative economic implications of Brexit are obvious, the advantages not so obvious. Indeed there are some on here that will vote for Brexit despite the informed opinions of the majority but canít tell us why.

But you are correct in that I donít understand what is going on I the UK and I am not alone in this.

Well she must be a bit gullible to be used to publicise anything she's fed. Don't you think she would check sources first, and wouldn't the editors want to make sure of facts before printing?
As for the yahoo article, it smacks of anti US sentiment, understandably, but to finish by saying we'll all be eating chlorinated chicken and paying the US for medical care is plain silly.
a) The US would not take up any business with the kind of pension liabilities within the UNFUNDED NHS scheme.
b) I don't know of anyone who would willingly buy chlorinated chicken, and labelling laws have to disclose food origins. There will be a lot of unsold slimy raw chicken if it's imported.

It's far more important to find the person who leaked this and has caused such damage at a difficult time. The only aim is a spiteful sabotage of relations.

Isn't she the lady who persuaded Vicky Price to come clean about taking her husband's driving points and thus earn a prison sentence?

So called informed opinions, or they like to think so.

We could even get rid of the ballot box altogether.

Let any politician stand in the next GE & say, "vote for me even though I know you don't understand".
Don't forget Jaycey, they thought the public capable of making a decision to join the CM in the 70s, what's changed? Access to information, thank you internet.
