Seriously, these letters are supposed to reach everybody Tues. My Brother was an engineer, servicing, fitting and maintaining mail handling machinery, in these mailing companies, there is no way on earth all this can be done by then. Plus the few companies that handle this mail will have to bring a lot more staff in to do this, working in close proximity! More risks.

Boris does not think like most ordinary people do, he doesn't have to go to the supermarket, and at the moment (not sure if this is always done), he doesn't have to cook, his meals are being delivered. So do not understand the issues that a lot of people are experiencing.

That's a point, as they sent everyone a text on Tues and I got one on Weds. as well. Probably too long to text like their contact form, I could only write half of what I wanted to. Just tried to send another one with the other half and it keeps telling me to enter a valid message? Will try tomorrow if not will try with a different e'mail addy.

For those who do not understand the political ethos of "Social Justice"

It means giving every one the opportunity to succeed, whilst accepting there will always be winners and loosers

The concept was coined by Margret Thatcher
No it tends to mean that a Party puts the candidate up and the electorate then decides. Same process for both Blair and Corbyn, Blair was Labour & still is.

Re: Boris - Tories - What now?

What a total moron to have in charge of a country at this most crucial time

US President*Donald Trump*took to Twitter earlier to vaunt the television ratings of his daily briefings on the coronavirus pandemic gripping the United States.

"Because the 'Ratings' of my News Conferences etc. are so high... the Lamestream Media is going CRAZY," the president tweeted.

"President Trump is a ratings hit," he said quoting, the first sentence in an article in The New York Times.

What Trump omitted, however, was the remainder of the sentence.

Donald J. Trump

“President Trump is a ratings hit. Since reviving the daily White House briefing Mr. Trump and his coronavirus updates have attracted an average audience of 8.5 million on cable news, roughly the viewership of the season finale of ‘The Bachelor.’ Numbers are continuing to rise...

The full sentence read:*"President Trump is a ratings hit, and some journalists and public health experts say that could be a dangerous thing."

The newspaper went on to say that Trump "has repeatedly delivered information that doctors and public health officials have called ill informed, misleading or downright wrong."

Trump ignored those comments and focused on the numbers saying viewership for his briefings was similar to that of Monday Night Football or the finale of the hit show "The Bachelor."

Re: Boris - Tories - What now?

I am still waiting for this letter that should have been received on Tues. anyone had one yet? Also I do hope that with the salary that Boris is on he paid for the cost of printing and posting out of his own pocket and not the taxpayers' A lot of companies have gone above and beyond by donating items, money etc.

I looked out my window nobody was out clapping and didn't hear any in the area, whereas for the NHS (well deserved) loads of clapping and fireworks.
