Interesting but surely these are loans rather than venture capital and incur interest that struggling start ups may struggle to meet.

Officials will now have to get use to such terms as ...Gob****e, what' the craic? how's the form, eejit, your aul hole, tout, and quare yoke all becoming part of the daily eu lexicon.

It don't matter what language they use, its all about the numbers. Salary, expenses & pensions.

Re: Brexit going forward

Following the Brexit decision to leave the EU, We will be having problems within our aerospace manufacturing industries as the EU rules are that non EU members don't have access to their defence technologies, even their biggest Nato ally the US has only limited access ....

Already the Eu due to the decision have taken the Galileo satellite base station away from the Falklands ..... which will have an effect on our forces in a spat if GPS fails or maliciously taken down as it has normally been our strategic backup whilst a EU member .

We have also worked in the past along side or European partners with the next generation of fighter jets like the Typhoon with manufacturing. and suppliers spread across the EU including ourselves but this will be near impossible with the EU rule above of not sharing defence technology with non EU members. The alternatives dont seem viable as any Country thinking to build their own fighter jet would have to have deep pockets and vast tech knowhow, not in our grasp as a single country ... Sole projects are normally left to the big boys like the US , Russia etc .

So that leaves us having to buy F35 's built by the US and as seen by Erdogan you can partner with Lockheed Martin but they like the EU will never share their defence tech so there goes the UK loss of Sovereign capable aircraft ...

Why the doom & gloom Camden? David took Goliath down with a sling shot......david.jpg

It's written in the Bible so it must be true.

It's going to be great! What else can possibly go wrong?

It hasn't stopped other European countries from purchasing the F35, nor some of our allies like Australia, Canada etc.

Funny, someone said the same last night on a post.

It seems if you point out the pitfalls in Boris's clap happy routine your called a Doomster. I seems some in the Nation have been brainwashed with this inane routine and the ones that don't even his own circle, that have seen round the curtain of exaggeration and bluster that the Man is a fraud ...like Laura Perry O' Neil who questioned his leadership and honesty are sacked .....

She said : "My advice to anybody to whom Boris is making promises - whether its voters, world leaders, ministers, employees or indeed family members - is... 'Get it in writing, get a lawyer to look at it and make sure the money is in the bank'."

Jaycey can we have our aid back we may need it ?.....

No response over other European countries purchasing the F35 Camden or is it just the UK at fault. BTW there a 15% UK build involvement, along with 500 UK companies involved in the F35.
