Fair trade?

Should we be doing this? Views please.
The British government is helping a controversial Israeli spyware company to market its surveillance technologies at a secretive trade fair visited by repressive regimes, the Guardian can reveal.

Re: Fair trade?

IMO why not.

The Israeli company in question has 'allegations' against it but no convictions.

Are 'allegations' these days enough to stop companies promoting their business?

If they are convicted then the UK government shouldn't be doing this.

I am sure that if it was the Palestine spyware company it would be no problem...

Re: Fair trade?

It's the secrecy and involvement by invitation that makes it all look dodgy. As for refusing the MP who sat on the Parliamentary committee for arms exports, what is that all about? The irony of sad arabia using Israeli software to spy on the opposition makes me smile.
