Re: Get back to Turkey

I doubt it very much too

Spain is on its knees desperate for a return to the normality of tourist flights landing here

We have just had our next nationwide lockdown extension until mid April so theres not a hope in hell of flights then

Re: Get back to Turkey

Tourism may never be the same again world-wide, like many other industries. This virus has made a lot of people check what is important to them and think twice about their life style.

Re: Get back to Turkey

My thoughts go out to all those stranded, especially away from loved ones, not just in Turkey, but wherever.

Not only Tourism Abi , people who are living away from family when something like this happens.

To me this is something that we accepted when we first moved overseas. Even though flying was an option, we could not afford to fly back, for my first years we could only afford to return to the Uk every 2 years. Each time I saw my parents i assumed that it may be the last time I would see them.

Re: Get back to Turkey

Note that Turkish Air is still flying to Washington, NYC, Moscow, Hong Kong, Addis Ababa. To transit thru Moscow, need transit visa. Transit visas apparently still being issued. Or, how about transiting thru Addis. . .?
Then there’s the ferry from Odessa to Haydarpasha. Haven’t checked the Ukraine border situation, but that trip sounds intriguing indeed.
