Back to slavery. Toney's Chocolonely is the ONLY chocolate that does not involve slavery.

"Right now there is slavery on cocoa farms in West Africa. This is the result of the unequally divided cocoa chain. Toney's Chocolonely exists to change that. Alone we make slave-free chocolate but together we'll make all chocolate 100% slave free. www.toneyschocoloney.com

I think most Sainsburys sell it. I bought some yesterday - eaten it all. It was excellent !

Still this goes on in the UK, out with the family on a charity cycle ride.

John Wayne
Can't believe some of his comments. Never a fan, no respect for him.

The interview saw Wayne say: “I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility.

He said: “I don’t feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them. … Our so-called stealing of this country from them was just a matter of survival.

“There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves.”

Re: Colston statue

A red neck who believed his films mirrored history and couldn’t act

His worst performance was as a Centurion in The Greatest Story Ever told. Who can forget his line at the Crucifixion “Gee that really was the Son of God” spoken as a cowboy

Re: Colston statue

I wonder if he did it because he doesn't believe religion matters.

Montana man charged with toppling Ten Commandments monument.

Police said they don’t know what provoked the act of vandalism.

Montana police arrested a man who they said pulled down a courthouse Ten Commandments monument with a chain and a pickup truck, according to reports.

Re: Colston statue

I see that now it is spreading to cover animal slaves.

"In a statement, Waitrose said: "As part of our animal welfare policy, we have committed to never knowingly sell any products sourced from monkey labour."

Co-op said: "As an ethical retailer, we do not permit the use of monkey labour to source ingredients for our products."

So the next stage must be to ban anything anything from a field ploughed by an ox, or tea carried from the fields by an unwilling donkey. How they can get serious about a monkey climbing for nuts, but ignore British cows being abused for their milk, I do not know. The World is going mad!

Re: Colston statue

We are reviewing our policies and are looking to give our guard dogs 2 days off a week and regular 8 hour shifts, with water and meal breaks at prescribed times.
