When someone apologises they should be forgiven

I just wondered what folks think about this.

I was reading this article:-

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s outrage over a Republican lawmaker’s verbal assault broadened into an extraordinary moment on the House floor on Thursday as she and other Democrats assailed a sexist culture of “accepting violence and violent language against women” whose adherents include Donald Trump.

Re: When someone apologises they should be forgiven

I think she also thought the apology wasn't genuine regret.

When someone apologises they should be forgiven

The apology needs to be heart felt which is in the real world hard to determine and can be bias by the persons acting ability

The apology doesent detract on the need for recompense or penance

The recommence or penance may be reduced but re imposed and significantly increased if the apology is later found to be false

The level at which the above is imposed is commensurate with the level of the misdamena

Re: When someone apologises they should be forgiven

Personally I don't feel that apologies should always be accepted automatically.

Re: When someone apologises they should be forgiven

I wonder if the bloke that attacked the journalist because he was a lefty should be spared gaol if he apologised, this violence tendency of the right wingers is becoming worrying , it's how it went in Berlin in the 30's He sounds very like the right's poster boy T Robinson, ace reporter.
