Olive Gardens update

Hi to everyone who is soon to be visiting Olive Gardens.
A friend returned from Akbuk a couple of days ago. She was shown around Olive Gardens with an agent. She says it is looking pretty good, builders just tidying up all the loose ends. Now I can't wait to see it at end of July when we will be spending 3 weeks in our new home.

Re: Olive Gardens update

Hi all,
Just returned from three gorgeous weeks at Olive Gardens. Weather was usually about 40 degrees and view from our balconies was fantastic. A number of Turkish people commented on the fantastic views that we had.
Anyone visiting their home for the 1st time just be prepared to have lots of cleaning equipment available as homes need a very good clean and you may need to call builders back in to clear up any snag list that you may have. As long as you are prepared for this you will have a fantastic time.
We spent most of our three weeks turning our house into a home which I think we did successfully. It felt strange to leave it behind to come back to UK. But now we are back in temperatures of about 16 degrees and back to the old routine of jobs, etc what a bore. We look forward to going back out in October.
We hired a car from Gordion Travel and would like to inform people that Muzaffer (Gordion) was very helpful and it is good to know of someone who you can rely on.
I look forward to hiring a car from him in October.

Hi Floss,
I'm sure you will have a great time when you visit in September. We have not received our tapu or habitation licence yet. This is because there is still some work being done on the complex eg. the tennis court not finished yet and therefore phase 1 still being completed. We were told we would receive it early next year.

Hi Angela - I have been told by my agent that the TAPU is at the local office & should be ready to sign over early next yer. Many thanks. Could I ask you whether you have had any problems with items you think were standard & the agent is saying they are not IE. Vanity units / shower enclosures?

Re: Olive Gardens update

Hi, just been reading all the reviews, have noticed the date is last year. I live in wales and have just had a visit from an agent to try and sell me an apartment at olive gardens, due to be ready in march... please please i need some advise, i would only be in it 2 weeks a year and was hoping to rent it out. I,m would have to take a second mortgage for this, so is it worth the hassle, or is everything in the olive garden not that rosy.

thanks. Debbie
