Olive Gardens tennis court
Hi to everyone,
Can anyone let me know if the tennis court at Olive Gardens has been completed yet. Whilst we were there in August the fence was being constructed and then all work came to a standstill. Just wondered if it will finished when we return at end of October
Many thanks

Re: Olive Gardens tennis court
I visited during October but it was still not finished. I believe they cannot continue to work on it until the beginning of November, as construction cannot be actioned during the months of May-Oct. Have you started to pay the management fee if this is the case?

Re: Olive Gardens tennis court
We have just come back from Olive Gardens. The tennis court is still full of pipes and has not been marked out. The 24 hour security hasn't started and the grass is very patchy. Several people have been asked for their maintenance fee.Do you think this should be paid when everything is not ready?
Carol
PS email me at carol.toogood@ntlworld.com and I will send you picture of tennis court taken last week.

Re: Olive Gardens tennis court
I have been given bank details in england to transfer the funds to re the maintenance charge. In addition, I am now being told that items you would consider as standard (& agreed by the agency verbally when I visited the site) are now not included. The fact that they are not included in the original contract is immaterial especially when you have been verbally told they are standard like hand rails, netting (mosquito), vanity inits & also shower cubicles/enclosures. I do not think that maintenance charges should be paid espcially when the site is not finished. Is anyone else experiencing any problems like this?

Hi Floss
We have had problems also with our agent saying shower screen, vanity unit and mosquito nets are not included. On our return to England we did find written on a piece of his headed paper that a shower screen was included, so we will hopefully have that fitted when we return next year. As for the vanity unit and mosquito nets we have not got that in writing so we will not get these items. We certainly would not recommend our agent to anyone.
We have had many problems with him and have found him throughly rude now he has got all our money!!!
As for the maintenance. We have not been asked for it as yet. But do not feel we should pay until everything is up and running etc.
