Re: Sun Loungers
With the increased numbers of europeans buying in Akbuk, one would think there will be no problems in purchasing outdoor furniture in Akbuk.l have been walking around to see if any stores do sell any sunloungers, and there were none,no outdoor furniture for sale in Akbuk.
The only option, was to travel to Altinkum to purchase what l wanted.Lots of hardware stores popping up,last count was 8,but nothing in the lines of outdoor furniture.

Re: Sun Loungers
Has anyone tried the place up by Apollo Temple, Didim. Walked past it but never been in. The stuff looks nice though.

Hi Angela, the cheapest ones I have seen in Didim are 65ytl. They are on the opposite side of the road to Migros near Cecilia's hairdressers.

Hey! That`s not such a bad idea Kym......`A Professional Shopper` what a great sideline for some of the `veterans`. Charge by the day and - through their experience could ensure that the benefit of new custom is directed toward those traders who they know deserve the business for being honest.
From a selfish point of view - I would imagine that there will be a few new arrivals in December, other than ourselves, heading for Olive Village with a complete list of domestic requirements to be purchased from reliable local tradespeople. Why give the potential revenue of that business to those likely to be accused later of shady practices.
The `Shopper/Shoppers` could organise and escort groups to specific businesses on a daily schedule over a given period; it would certainly avoid a confused invasion of new arrivals running around like headless chickens and waiving long shopping lists (including `save the Thread` sunloungers).
Am I getting carried away Kym, or has this been done before. What about your WITs - it could swell the club`s social fund - I can see the advert now `Use Your Wit`s`............(I think I`d better go for a lie down)
What`s your view Kym ??

it's a cracking idea Ian - some TLF members have thought of it before though (although I've not heard of the the group shopping thingy ps love the save the thread brand - perhaps you could market it?)
erm - the only reason I know it's been done before is - I paid for such a service Lynne from here was me personal shopper for a few days. I was very pleased the service I received.
