Re: Rugby World Cup
It was a good game Friday evening, bit too close for comfort at the end. We need to concentrate 'til the final whistle, but roll-on the World Cup when we'll peak just at the right time!
Let's go Ireland.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Don't think there's any doubt about it,the northern hemisphere teams are only there to make up the numbers.

Re: Rugby World Cup
I agree tjd. we where at the 22 line and i didn't think ogara touched down so we were very lucky with that call!!
The team looked good though a lot of work to be done yet but looking forward to the challenge.....together standing strong

Re: Rugby World Cup
Hi EL,
Surely Ireland can't lose tonight? Hopefully we'll play really well and increase the level of confidence in the team for the other matches.
4mins gone - good start Ireland - keep it up!!

Re: Rugby World Cup
Great start to the game but it all went horribly wrong. Somebody should have given Hickie Velcro gloves...I was amazed at their game.
We got our 5 points but not the start to the world cup we hoped for.
I hope they will learn a few lessons and have a bit more of the 'LUCK OF THE IRISH' for the next game

Re: Rugby World Cup
tjd
i'm depressed.....what has happened to Ireland....a few good moments but too few!!
I'm addressing this to you as we seem to be the only two interested in sharing thoughts on world cup.....no wonder the way the home teams are playing!!!
Well maybe Ireland are keeping the best too last...ahhhh wishful thinking I fear

Swing Low Sweet Chariot.
As an Englishman living in Wales today is very very sweet indeed.
With the Kiwis choking again it's now the French in their own back yard.I wonder if I can get a final ticket on ebay.
