Is Hughes the man?
I believe Mark Hughes is just the man to bring the best out of some of Man City's players. Sven's sacking may not have seemed right, but I did have concerns about his discipline. No worries there with Hughes. He's done a great job at Blackburn in the 4 years he's been there and I reckon he'll do a top job at City.

Re: Is Hughes the man?
He probably will if he is given time, but I am not sure if he will be given it if he does not produce the results for the present owner.

Re: Is Hughes the man?
I think Hughes will be a good manager but i dont think they will break into the top 4. Even Liverpool cannot compete financialy with the big three. I think the Premeirship is the best league in the world but i do think too many clubs are expecting to much.

Solution: Hate to say I told you so, but..........I told you so.
Peter: Consider yourselves lucky to have Mark Hughes. He's only on loan, kind of serving an apprenticeship before taking his rightful place as SAF's successor.

Re: Is Hughes the man?
Oh, how I remember the days of standing in the Stretford End on a Saturday afternoon lusting after Mark Hughes' enormous thighs! Thick as tree trunks they were!!! (his thighs, that is)
Sorry folks! Back to topic
