Brenda, I think you would be better trying the toy shops, these kites are not cheap! the cheapest land trainer kite is £150 and that was second hand. but when strapped onto these they have enough strength to pull you through the water, which looks as much fun as the actual surfing.

Tony, I have yet to see any sport on the water that is cheap. If you want to enjoy yourself you are going to have to have very deep pockets.

To watch these people from the shore front is fun in itself, the speeds that they can reach are amazing, especially the professional players; when they do the acrobats the heights they attain can be 50ft!
