Living in the Sun ...Guess Who??????
Finally got back on our Forum!!! Wheyhey and for all yous newbies we think this is the best Forum ever we found it last year and it was really really helpfull for everything we needed to know on our run up to coming over here in May.
Martyn and i have had a fantastic time we have made loads of friends, and had lots of family over for visits which we love. We are living in a sitesi that is fab and we have great neighbours both Turkish and English.
First there is Marc and Linda a lovely young couple with 3 of the most adorable children you could ever wish to meet, then we have David and Denise great couple and many a good laugh and nights out we have had with them, then we have Trevor great guy who could we think build a house single handed given half the chance (true workaholic) lol but great to know for all those odd jobs and improvments.
Derek and many many more who are not on our sitesi but have met i.e. our one and only Pennie of the Forum (she is a true jem) then we have the blue bike people lol (this is a lovely couple whom we met but could never remember their names so even when we did finally remember they will always be known as blue bike people lol,
The lovely Terri and Steve, and Maggie and her partner whom we met just today, lovely people and if i have forgotten anyone i apoligise just too many to mention.
We truly have had a wonderfull time here and really dread the thought of going home and leaving our little bit of paradise, but we had promised our family with it being our first year here that we would return home for the winter (brrrrrr) to see them all and watch our grandkids open their prezzies from santa, but next year we intend to be here all year with maybe 2 short visits home.
We much prefer them coming to us, where we can enjoy quality time and take them places we have found and make sure they have a good rest, so far all our family have truly loved it, (my sister who has never been abroad in her life and was truly horrified with our move over here) LOVED IT she cant wait till her next visit next June for her birthday lol. Also our beautiful daughter and hubby and our two gorgeous grandkids are even thinking of selling up and moving out too!!!! Which would be fantastic!!
A big thankyou to Andy Chapman of the Forum for keeping in touch with us via e-mail and sent us jokes and good wishes, thanks also goes to our daughter who helped with our on line banking and money transfers, her love and support.
Finally to all the staff at Crescent Homes Andy, Hassan, Karen and Mushtaq. Hopefully now that than that we have got the password sorted out..... and fingers crossed get our much awaited phone-line in shortly we can participate and debate (only when sober though) lol on here once more as we have really missed all the news, people and crack.
Anne & Martyn xx

Glad your move went so well and that you are enjoying your new life. Have fun in Ballyclare at Christmas - I know the area well as I'm originally from Ballymena and my uncle had a farm in Doagh (small world).

Hi Anne
A lovely report on your new life.
As you know I have been one of the fiercest critics of "up sticks and going completely" but I am delighted for you both.
Take care both of you
