Coming Home
Just got booked Agean Flights Manchester to Bodrum 26th Feb £83 each!!!! Can't wait to go home to Turkey after being here since end of Sept it seems a long, long time lol.
We had a fabulous time buying and settling into our home in Akbuk last May, we had a brilliant summer, with loads of family over, constant flow of visitors, many many friends and vowed we would never spend so much time away again.
We much prefer our family to come to visit us, anyway just thought i would share this news with everyone, have already phoned my hubby, and daughter i suppose it's a bit like shouting it from the rooftops lol.

Re: Coming Home
Hi Harem, sorry for the confusion i phoned hubby because he has been working while we have been here (otherwise it would have been a long and expensive holiday for us) lol. He got a 16 week temporary contract which suited us fine, as neither of us are looking for permanent work. Martyn (my husband) has missed Turkey, Akbuk, our home, and our friends every bit as much as i have. We can't wait but at least now we have a date before we fly off to england on 20th Feb. We have our 5th grandchild due 7th Feb, which is one of the reasons why we have to hang around here, so even if he is late by 10 days we will still be here to see him before we fly to Manchester on 20th Feb, which is great as we get to spend 6 days with family and friends we have there too, then we fly to Turkey 26th Feb. So all in all everything is tickity boo.
Paul and Emma your time will come, Maggie we won't forget your bacon hun.
Take Care
Anne xx

Re: Coming Home
Andy!! How cruel lol, time has passed very quickly now that i am feeling much better i go round our family's houses ironing and cleaning and babysitting grandkids and generally helping out as much as i can while i can, son has lost weight now that he is back eating my food instead of takeaways and rubbish ready meals, of course the hectic lifestyle of UK in general doesn't leave much time for son and his girlfriend to prepare healthy food. Poor girl does 13 hour shifts in hospital and son works most nights untill 9pm which as we all know is the worst time to be eating food, i love cooking for them and having their uniforms all washed and ironed and just knowing they are alright, which is my biggest worry while i am in Turkey. But as much as they love having us here it's a little cramped and many a fight over the remote lol, mind you this sky plus is fab, you never need miss an episode of anything.
Anyway back to my ironing and you haven't dampened my enthusiasm lol.
Hugs & Jellybeans
