See what Carol thinks and we choose a picture.
I have always liked her avatar on Facebook.

say £400 each box is approx 960 TL divided by say 15 TL a book is 64 stickers on 64 books. 2 boxes say 150 stickers max for you but allowing for other projects, the run on is cheaper, so perhaps 500 on a roll if Carol happy!!
Let's see if anyone else has a better idea for the message and then it needs to be written in Turkish.

Pebble Jackson Türkiye’yi çok seviyor ve çocukların okumasını istiyordu. Bu kitap, onun anısına size dostları tarafından verilen bir armağandır.

Pebble Jackson loved Turkey very much and she wanted children to read. This books is a gift given to you by her friends in her memory.

Note: Okumak is a verb which means both to read a book and to study (to further one’s education).

Re: Progress

That's nice Serdar. The only thing is I don't want the children to think it's a book they can keep for themselves. I hope they will borrow it and then take it back and borrow another. That way each book will be seen by many children not just one. Is there any way you could reword it to convey that meaning?

Re: Progress

If others agree, I think that is suitable wording. The email address of the web site also needs to be on the sticker. I'll think of something to go on a letter to the receiving schools. I want to make sure that children are allowed to borrow them and take them home to share with siblings, parents and friends.

Re: Progress

Hi Jane
Sorry no posts recently.
I think the wording is great from Serdar thank you
I agree about the email address too on the sticker as Nev mentioned that people could add their info via email to register their support. Normally the email on the site itself is linked to the URL like info@pebblejacksonproject.com or similar rather than via a service provider.I will check with Nev.
Thats kind of Carol to do the stickers and she PM,d me that she has contacted Nev for fonts etc. Thank you again
As soon as you need the books money Jane I will get Mushtaq to release the allocated fund to you. This way myself and Mushtaq are extra evidence that its being done properly and you are acting on behalf of PJP.
I will pass your post to Moyra this evening Jane and thats brilliant!!

Re: Progress

This has sent my mind spinning and I'm wondering if we can go a step further. I have asked Serdar if he thinks a box of books plus a box of toys might be acceptable or needed. It must be traumatic to be sent away to school when they are only 6 or 7. If Maggie goes ahead with her shoe boxes she might be interested in this. Children don't learn if their minds are full of worries or if they are unhappy. I shall ask Nev and Terry to put all this on PJP website. If it's ok with Serdar I'll publish the pm he sent me explaining it all.
