Catteries in Turkey?
Hello
Are there catteries in Turkey?I read on here that many people are taking cats into Turkey. So where do people leave their cats when they go away?I have asked on another forum and only got one reply and that person had not heard of any catteries around.I am just thinking about when I fly back to the Uk I will need to leave my cat somewhere safe while I am gone.
Thanks
Rachel.

Re: Catteries in Turkey?
Most vets in the area provide a "Pensyon" service for animals.
I'm not sure of the prices but, as a guide, I've heard of one vet in Fethiye who charges 8 YTL per day for a medium sized dog.

Rachel: there is an animal boarding facility located in Marmaris.
Feel free to contact me if more information required.

Re: Catteries in Turkey?
Rachel there is an excellent kennels/cattery in Turgutreis, run by a Dutch couple. I have been there several times and all the cats and dogs are looked after really well.

Re: Catteries in Turkey?
Fantastic.Thanks for your replies.Here my local cattery charges £5 a day.So 8 turkish lira sounds a bargain.

Re: Catteries in Turkey?
Well I mean 8 sounds about same as Uk.Which is ok to me.And I would think they would charge less for a cat.
