Hi can anyone out there help us,regarding our little dog leela. We moved to Turkey konakli region in november 2005,with the promise of jobs and a fantastic lifestyle,well unfortunately the jobs never came off,so we are having to return to England to generate some cash. We have a little maltese terrier called leela who is 16 months old,white,weighs 5kg,housetrained,can be left for long period of time throughout day,is not destructive. sHE eats what we eat,and is very low maintenance,she just needs a couple of walks a day,she loves attention,and is adorable,everyone loves her. She travels well in cars and on the dolmus,She loves the beach,our gardener has said he will sort of look after her,but he has never had a dog before,and speaks no english!!!! We are going back to England at the end of july,so need someone quickly,one of our english friends suggested asking forum members for help. We do not want any money for her,and will provide her toys,bedding,bowls etc. Please help us with this matter,as it will be one less thing to worry about,Our email is gingertoad @gmail.com.Thanks once again for reading this plea.We will be coming back to turkey in a few months time,but wont want to unsettle her so all we would ask is that you let us know how she is getting on etc. Thanks a million Lynda and Steve :

After the Cassie rigmarole I am saying nothing! However if a home cannot be found for Leela up that way, then I would consider it. Gingerlynda have you tried your local branch of the RSPCA? They were extremly helpfull in re-homing my cat last year.......

Hi apparently the animal organisations here are not interested in rehoming,this is what we have been told,dont know how far its true LYnda

Did you find a home for your baby? I dont know where konakli is, not on the bodrum peninsula I know that.....
In a pinch, Im sure there are loads of us that will help u out.
