VERY EXPENSIVE that's for sure. I'm a dog lover but it would either be kennels or left with a friend.

Moved on from there mate :-)

I am not sure but it used to be that you had 72 hours to get your animal from the UK to Turkey. Its a long way to go to get stopped at the border, half the border guards don't know their arse from their hand. Its a tricky one.

Re: dog traveling from uk to altinkum then return uk

Bit of a different scenario for us we fly often between Ukraine & Turkey with our tea cup poodle.

On arrival at Istanbul all we need for clearance is her pet passport (available at your vet including the usual vaccinations) and a letter from him declaring that the animal is in good health. This letter should dated not more than 4 days prior to departure and may be in English language (ours is in Russian, no problem).

We also need this on departure from Ukraine you may also be required to produce it on departure from the UK (?)

Presumably the border guards should understand this procedure.

She also ahas a personality to match her looks. There is no quarantine between Turkey & UK or UK and Turkey. Your vet should have all information you need and he will have to issue the documents.
