Any one for Puppies!!

Hi Guys,

We have had this dog on our site for the last 2 years I have been coming, she was just a bundle of fur when I first saw her. She was a loveable thing so much so that when it used to steal my shoes and chew them outside my villa I couldnt bring myself to throwing stones at her which is what some of the Turks on our site did!

She got a little friendly with the Kids who decided to name her "Karly Dog" and she is incredibly good mannered. She grazes our left overs and moves on to the next friendly house within the site, hell she's so friendly even Mushtaq feeds her!!!

Recently we decided to have her spayed although we were a bit late as on our return from our holiday in the UK we found out she was pregnant. We started feeding her proper dog food to give her as good a chance as she could.

Sorry Getting to the Point!! - Ive been busy for the last 2 weeks assisting in the Birth and feeding 7 georgous puppies, not one runt or fatality, all are spritely little things and are very cheeky now that they can see and hear their own voices. In total we have

2 Black and White Bitches
2 White and Coffee Bitches
2 White and Brown Dogs
1 White and Brown Bitch

In 6 weeks time (at roughly 8 weeks old) they will be ready to leave their very caring mother "Karly Dog". I have already checked with the Dogs home and they are no longer accepting puppies as they already have too many, so its down to me and my friends to find as many homes as possible before taking the others to the Vets for you know what!!

I will use this thread to update with Pictures and let people know which ones have gone to good homes etc

and some more!

Thanks for looking, I'll get some more photos and post in a few days

Take care

Marc

Wink Re: Any one for Puppies!!

Hi Marc
I had a similar story except unfortunately my dog Marmite died after giving birth to three puppies in very similar circumstances. The pups survived but sadly Kismet died at one week old, followed by her brother Sonny the following week. Malteaser who was the only brown one is happily thriving and is now the grand old age of 7 weeks. It has been a very strange month especially as I have never seen a dog give birth before and spent hours going ooooh and aaaah over the pups. There were smiles and laughter and then sadly lots of tears. The strange thing is that my bulldog Kesh who had to be put to sleep a few months ago is the father and Malteaser has mums cute little terrier face, dads huge body and feet and is a puffball who turns into a frizzy ball when he gets wet. He is quite the star and regularly appears on web cam to Auntie Pennie, auntie Susie and whoever else wants to see the 'Brown Badger'. I even had Alan KKOB feeding one when he popped in the other week!
If there is a way to get a pup down here to me then I would love to give one a home. I am not too fussy about the colour but would this time like a bitch.Naturally you would prefer them to go to local people and I understand that.Malteaser would love a playmate as the kitties do not like his rough and tumble play. You can be certain that will be well looked after and wanted. Well done that man.....

Re: Any one for Puppies!!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the well wishes, told the kids i had put the puppies on internet and read your replies. Today we started to bring them out of their hideaway home, underneath a neighbours house, into the daylight and started to handle them more, we read somewhere they need lots of handling around this stage to help them get used to people, the kids and some neighbours are happy to help.

My kids wanted some individual photos of the puppies (and themselves!!!) here are the ones we chose.

1. Tom with Brown and White Bitch they call "Lady"

2. Caitlyn with Black and White Bitch they call "Molly"

3. Ella with White and Coffee Bitch they call "Beyaz"

4. Tom with Black and White Bitch they call "Holly"

Incredible puppies Marc. Wish I could adopt one of them but it looks impossible with my dog and five cats.

"taking the others to the Vets for you know what!! " This part in your message made me sad if it means what I think. I guess you have checked the Dogs home in Akbük. As far as I know there is one in Bodrum, too. If the one in Bodrum accepts the rest of the puppies, the ones that are not addopted, I promise to take them from Akbük and deliver to the Dogs home in Bodrum.
