Türk Telekom announces new tariffs for home and work phones

Türk Telekom will implement one of the biggest reductions to date in national, international and mobile calls: With the new tariffs effective March 1st 2007, the prices for national calls will be decreased to the level of local calls. Following the changes, calls from Istanbul to Ankara or, Edirne to Ardahan will be made for the same price, at the level of local calls.

Türk Telekom will change its tariffs for the first time since 2004. The changes bring some increases in monthly rental fees and local call charges generally at the inflation level and revolutionary changes to national, international and GSM calls.
