Re: TTNet ADSL - Help!
Do you have a setup disk that came with the modem? If so, you may find you have to store the ADSL login and password on the modem.

Re: TTNet ADSL - Help!
Try this which I have just gleaned from a search, which I do not guarantee, but they are all saying the same thing - it is an inability to get an answer from the computer you are dialing:
Error 678 - The Computer you are dialing into is not answering
This error normally occurs when using Windows XP. This can be resolved by following these steps:
Check that the phone number it is dialing is correct, including the area code.
Windows XP
· Restart your computer and wait until all applications have completely loaded before trying to reconnect.
(be cautious about using the next idea)
· Click on the Start Menu and then select Run. In the box which appears type the word command in order to open the command prompt and then click OK. In the black command prompt window, type netsh interface ip reset log.txt and click on Enter on your keyboard. Then type exit into the command prompt and then click on Enter on your keyboard. Now restart your computer and reconnect to the Internet.
Other Operating Systems (Windows 98/ME/2000)
· Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Modem. For information on how to do this please refer to the ADSL modem setup instructions or the installation cd that was provided with your modem

Re: TTNet ADSL - Help!
I have a ttnet adsl...when I set it up, the airties asdl icon appeared at the bottom right hand corner of the screen..
double click on that icon, (its in turkish) and put in your code number you would have been given by the ptt, your phone number and email address (given by the ptt) and anything else it asks..(my turkish very limited, but I got the jist of it..)
after i done that, it worked no problem (i didnt use the ms new connection wizard..)

Re: TTNet ADSL - Help!
Thanks for the responses, everyone.
However, I eventually discovered that the basic problem was that I hadn't realised that I needed an external ADSL router!
I thought my computer's internal modem was enough to do the trick. Anyway, all sorted now, up and running. Thanks again.
