turkish residential phone guarantor
Can anyone help please?
I understand that if you apply to Turk Telecom for a residential phone connection you can ask a Turk to guarantee the connection. In practical terms does anyone know what are the processes you have to go through?
Any help would be most appreciated- this refers to Altinkum.Thanks.
Keny.

Re: turkish residential phone guarantor
Basically, you just go to your local Turk Telecom offices with your Turkish friend and they complete the paperwork.
However, as far as I know, all office staff at Turk Telecom offices have been on strike for the last few weeks. You'll need to check if they've returned to normal working yet.

Not only office staff who have been on strike, the engineers are on strike too.

Re: turkish residential phone guarantor
Why do you want a Turk to be a guarantor? just take your residency papers to Turk telecom and you can have it in your own right.

You will if your phone or ADSL goes down - it won't get fixed!"!! In fact I heard that the strikers are cutting phone lines out of spite.

I Cant really work out unit price. but Sue calls uk almost every night as women do!! and I make business call to UK mobile numbers daily and the biggest monthly bill was our first which included 10ytl connection fee bill was a total of 74ytl last month bill was 44ytl. ADSL slim line I call it because when I pick phone up I lose the net this cost is 29 ytl but a deal (when they come back to work) at moment is first 2 months free. All excellent VFM so i am not going to moan about slimline.
