dell computer
Does anyone out there own a dell computer bought recently?I've contacted dell in the Uk and they say you cannot get a dell computer in turkey.If you look on their international site there is a turkish dell site advertising dell computers.This would seem to suggest there is either a dell assembly plant somewhere or the computers are imported, proberly from USA into turkey, maybe into Istanbul or antalya?I,d be amazed if they have'nt got agents in turkey.Can anyone please shed any light on this matter/Thankyou,

Thats OK Keny. If i were you i would seriously think about getting another computer. Dell are one of the worst on the market, and that comes from some-one that owns a computer shop, obviously he dosn't stock them. Do you want a laptop, anyway it dosn't matter there are plenty on the market and easily purchased in Turkey.
Maybe the members could suggest one for you.

Hello Andy,
Thankyou again for your comments.On what facts do you base your judgement that "dell are the worst computers"?Is it the hardware or the software?As far as I know they are biggest company in the world with the largest sales worldwide.No offence intended but I have opinions from 2 graduate/post grad computer guys who they are good computers? Keny.

As my post said Keny The Local Computer Shop Owner in the UK.
He says NO to Dell Computers,  but thats only his opinion. |

no ,i got it from their uk website [ special courier delivery to my house .plus you can take out a 5 year g/tee with them ,any prob ,they come to your house to fix it ,and if they cant fix it you get a new one .when i say you get a new one it means if they cant fix it at your home then they give you a new one .so you are not without one all the time.so far i have not needed them anyway.
