3G High Speed Internet Data Coverage
I know that wifi and broadband are readily available in S/W Turkey, but what about 3G high speed internet and data services? More specifically a USB/PCMCIA 3G data card for roaming Internet access? Has anyone from the UK taken their lap top 3G card from O2, Vodafone, Orange or T-Mobile to S/W Turkey and received good coverage?
/Mark.

Re: 3G High Speed Internet Data Coverage
My Laptop is set up to use my Orange mobile as a modem to access Internet (using GPRS) in ANY country but its £8/MB in Turkey!!
Next time i'm over there, i shall use my Turkcell SIMM card and use that inmy mobile phone instead - MUCH cheaper! So, GPRS is fine but 3G and any other new services (EDGE, or the other one...HDPSA?) are not currently available to my knowledge.

Re: 3G High Speed Internet Data Coverage
Hi Baba yard
As i use 3G on my laptop all week in the lorry it seemed natural to take it with me to Altinkum, but after enquiring i soon changed my mind as the quote was £10 per MG bite.
Having said that it was a year ago, and since then the UK(Vodaphone) has gone from £30 per month for 250 MG bite to £30 unlimited so maybe its worth a look on your providers website.
