Re: Free Mobile Calls
I've used services like this before; they're generally good, but the quality of the line can sometimes be poor (routed through over-subscribed VoIP), also you have to be VERY careful that your provider doesn't charge for calling the number - even if it looks like a normal mobile number - and remember what you're told now may be different in a couple of weeks time (i.e. it takes a while for the provider to 'notice' the number) - so keep an eye your bills.

Re: Free Mobile Calls
some providers can offer this 'free' service but it can be complicated -
1)you dial in a Uk landline prefix number then the number you wish to call - then hold
2) the number you are calling needs to know you will be doing so as when they answer they have to listen for a number to ring back (usually a free 0800 type number for the country they are in)
3) Whilst you are still holding on (!!) - they then ring back the free number and they are connected to you using your free minutes
Fraught with danger and complications methinks!

Checked this out also with O2 - this from their helpdesk.
"The calls made to the 07744 numbers aren't included in your free allowances.
They're charged at 25p per minute."
