I am using Voipstunt which is much better call quality than Skype. You can use your Skype phone to call a list of free countries including UK, America and Australia (amongst many others). Its 10Euros, which is about £8 for four months. You can call any landline in many countries. My Skype call quality was total rubbish and I know many others have the same problem. The call quality is crystal clear.
