Hello all , i am a Turkcell subscriber but the problem is i don't know Turkish and Turkcell keeps on spaming me and send me messeges
so what is (gnçtrkcll / İşTcell )?

also a strange messege came to me and took away 18 kontors suddenly :S
from website www.cebin.de

so can you please tell me what to do to stop this messege?

also i am roaming with my number to egypt so the shortcut numbers like 3700 and 5555 doesnt work !!!!

First of all Mohamedology, welcome to the Forum. I haven't a clue what is happening with your Turkcell phone, nor what the messages are, unfortunately. However, it would be very nice to know something about you. Where you come from, what nationality are you, do you live in Turkey or Egypt? We are a nosey lot on here!!

We found out that some of the messages from Turkcell were informing us of offers. Also when you buy large amounts of Kontor (talk time)Kontor you get free Kontor stored up in a separate section, which you can cash in as and when you need to (this is for pay as you go).

Mohamed, i'd LOVE to know what half the messages i get from Turkcell mean.
I suggested they have a webpage with English translations of the common messages but no result...

I can't help you with all of that but:

gnctrkcll is the special tariff for young people
IsTcell is the special tariff for businesses

and the other seems like one of those illegal spammer things.. bad luck. Dont know how to stop it though... Turkcell should have an answering service in English so contact them.

Don't think shortcut numbers work abroad.

I got bombarded with them too.
One which I had was after sending about 3 messages in one day, a friend translated it for me and it said that I could send free text messages to anyone on the Turkcell network until midnight that day.

Yes Bibby,Kaytee you are right Turkcell sends alot of messeges for offers but i am with gren that we need english translation to understand

yes Aleynasdad the illegal spammers sent me a messege and i didnt understand anything except the website www.cebin.de so i logged on and wrote my number and the game begins ..
