Re: outlook express problem

After you have deleted everything you want to delete.

Go to file / folder / compact all folders.

see if that helps

Re: outlook express problem

Or simply switch to hotmail outlook express is known for not being very secure or stable. Must be right, look how many government departments use it.

Re: outlook express problem

Hotmail is webmail and i would have thought it would be far less secure than email that is downloaded to your pc.
are you using webmail, could it be that your webmail is full and not your outlook file?

Re: outlook express problem

Dont know if this will help...googled.

> Hi, I use vista and outlook express.

No you don't. You use Windows Mail.

> For the last 6 months or so I have been receiving an automated message
> stating that "mail box is full"

That message is coming from the server, not WinMail. You must go to your
servers Webmail site and delete messages there.

Then in WinMail:

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Uncheck: Leave a copy of
messages on the server.
