Re: Google Services Blocked

Good morning:

Raysalaff: Am afraid that which browser you use will not improve the situation as many web pages include Google Analytics which means that this server must be visited during the process of loading the page you have requested. Google Analytics is used by many webmasters as a means of collecting statistics concerning visitors to their sites and this is usually innocuous and done within a few milliseconds.

I use Firefox and when I click on a page I see the various services shown in the bottom left corner and it seems to hang up when it reach Google - there doesn't seem much one can do except to wait.

I don't know anything about the composition of the TIB (Telecommunication Transmission Directorate) but they have been in headlines recently in connection with wiretapping of phones.

Cheers

Paddy I agree, I find this all disappointing, for a country that should be moving on, it's sure is doing it in a funny way, it's taking big steps backwards, I feel sure that this is not what Kemal Ataturk had in mind, when he reshaped the country.

Re: Google Services Blocked

Yahoo has Translate and Dictionary that can be added.
Not used the translate current page to Turkey so I can not vouch for it but it may be worth downloading Yahoo to give it a try.
