Routers

We are moving permanantly to Turkey in september and already have our RP set up so we can get the 'phone etc sorted asap then. Do TTnet provide a router as done in the UK or will we need to get this and, if so, can we bring one from the uk and will this need to be just an internet not broadband router (if there is a difference) we have bt internet here and have a home hub but think that will not be any good to use in Turkey. Sorry to be a pain but not up to speed on how all this technology works??!!

Re: Routers

Quite frankly you will be better off with a modem/router made specifically for Turkey, ttnet will provide one for you and charge it on your bill at a lira or two a month but in my own humble experience you are better off buying the cheapest modem/router you can find and expect to replace it every 3 years. Just look in the ttnet shop to see what models they are supplying and then go to Kipa and see if it is any cheaper! Please note turktelecom/ttnet will only provide a connection to outside your building, the connection may or may not work you will have to get an electrician to connect from the outside to the phone etc inside.
