Seperate Bills?

Just a quickie folks.

I recently took out the TTNET combined internet and phone package, 51tl per month, 2 year contract.

My question is- despite taking this package through TTNET, will I receive seperate bills- one for internet from TTNET and a seperate one from Turk telecom detailing calls charges, line rental etc. Thanks.

Re: Seperate Bills?

They will both bill you but there will be no breakdown as standard, in fact I don't think they hard copy invoice you.

Re: Seperate Bills?

Not had a phone or internel bill for over 2 years. I just go into PTT with my account details and pay it. Itemised bill, dont think that translates into Turkish!

Val
We have had an itemised paper phone bill from TT every month since we had the phone installed nearly 5 years ago! Our internet isn't with TT but we get a paper bill monthly from our provider (which is a bit of a waste of paper really considering it costs the same every month and there is nothing to itemise!)

Re: Seperate Bills?

We used to get 2 separate bills until we started paying by direct debit, have not had a paper bill since, over 4 years now.

Re: Seperate Bills?

I'm the same as Val- I'm lucky if I get 1 hard copy bill a year from TTNet, Turkcell, or Digiturk. Nothing is on direct debit either. Because I live here full time, I've opted to pay directly at PTT (or Belediye for water)- find out a lot about what's going on in the town by doing that. Even if you have no understanding of Turkish, the signs/postings are quite often pictorial, or eye-catching in some way, and there's usually someone around to elaborate. Most of the time the "nobody ever told me's" are posted locally- makes me feel more connected to the community.

Re: Seperate Bills?

It is possible to get bills from both Turkcell and TTnet via e-mail but it is difficult to set up.

I receive bills with a full breakdown for 15 phones via e-mail each month, although we still have another 3 phones we haven't managed to set up.

Out of 10 Ttnet connections, we have only managed to set up one of them for e-mail billing, which arrives each month. These were a real b****r and hubby and I went round and round in circles trying to do them. We gave up after one.

Another pain is that we used to be able to pay them all at the local Turkcell shop, who held a list of all the phone and ADSL numbers. We just phoned them on the 2Oth of each month and they would run the payments through. We would pop in later, pay them and pick up all the receipts. Now we have to go to the PTT and queue topay them all individually there.
