Turkcell - Internet top-up

I can top up my Vodafone for any amount using internet.
It looks like Avea users can do the same.

However, it sems that Turkcell users can only top-up using specfied amounts, see below

7 TL 7,00 TL12 TL 12,00 TLAylık Nar 100 20,00 TLStandart 20,00 TL25 TLye 100 TL Nar 25,00 TLAvantaj 30,00 TLAylık Nar 150 30,00 TLSüper 50,00 TLSüper Plus 95,00 TLMega 180,00 TL
Most of the amounts are straight forward but I'm a little puzzled if I want to top up for either 20 or 30 TL

Aylık Nar 100 20,00 TL
Standart 20,00 TL

Avantaj 30,00 TL
Aylık Nar 150 30,00 TL

I have topped up with 50 Tl with no problems.

Can anyone explain why there are 2 options for both 20 Tl and 30 TL?
Does it matter which option I choose for either of them?

Re: Turkcell - Internet top-up

Hi, yes I have just been through this when I topped up on line through my HSBC account. I ticked the wrong 30TL box, he one with the 'NAR' description.

We ended up with no credit for the normal phone calls/sms and a 150TL NAR credit. This package is something to do with special internet shopping/sms options I think but still not quite sure what it does. It certainly is not however a mobile internet broadband package. So don't pick it!

Even if you have a mobile sign on you cannot change the tarrif from the NAR across to normal. I had to get a Turkish speaking friend to ring Turkcell and to be fair they did change it across to the correct package.

Hope this helps
Bert
