Don't know if this has already been covered before but a turkish friend showed me this the other day. Only works if you are using Turkcell.

1.type in *131# and then call.
A message comes up showing if you have any free contours in storage. Mine showed 200
2. Go to write messages and type in just the number of contours you require. You don't have to use them all and can save some. You hen send this message to 2255. You will recieve a message back and a little while later you recieve free contours.
Don't know how many times I have deleted messages from Turkcell because I didn't know what they were....if in doubt, give a shout.

Peter contours are credits on your mobile phone..

They are more commonly known as Kontörler, or the singular Kontör.

Hi Lorraine. Tried it on mates telsim phone. Didn't work with those numbers. Will ask around for you. Someone is bound to know, but you obviously know more people than me

Can not believe I am so stupid... been typing the number in now for a few mins - unknown application kept coming up... dozy bugger that I am I was using my contract phone... eventually sussed and found out I have 400 kontörs waiting for me... nice one.
