Best internet/tv package in Turkey??

Currently have a basic digiturk package 30tl for the tv & have a limited internet download package with ttnet approx 30tl.
Just wondering if there is a better package that I could find as digiturk seems to keep dropping some of my favourite channels.
I know D-smart do a internet & tv deal but there does not seem to be much uk tv on there ???
Any ideas.

Take a decent unlimited Net package and get a droid box.

Digiturk etc total waste of money

You can also put "filmon" onto your PC & watch UK TV channels for free but the Android box is the best choice but needs an unlimited internet package to make it worthwhile.

Re: Best internet/tv package in Turkey??

I have absolutely no experience of internet tv so am a bit lost. What exactly is an andriod box? how much? where do you get them etc.
I was thinking of getting d-smart internet unlimited & tv for 49tl & then download extra as needed but I really haven't got a clue. All I know is I can't afford more than I am paying now.

Re: Best internet/tv package in Turkey??

I got a droid box online for £52.

If you have unlimited net package you then connect the droid box to your tv with a hd lead and off you go.

Must stress- FOR LIVE SPORT YOU DO NEED GOOD SPEED, I WOULD SAY AT LEAST 6. In turkey I have only around 3.5 SO MOVIES, TV OK, BUT LIVE FBALL NOT GREAT

Here at home I have download of around 35 (fibre optic) so perfect picture

I got mine from this company through ebay

Android MINI PC store - AndroidGadgetUK.

Mushtaq on this forum is also supplying similar boxes- indeed his may be cheaper.

Need any help or info just message me

Re: Best internet/tv package in Turkey??

You are NOT a thicko. Its very new technology and we all have to learn

You are best with a tv that has a hd port to connect it using a hdmi cable

The box picks up the internet using a system called Xbmc

Basically your tv screen when the box is connected will look like a computers desktop. You then click on selected options to choose movies, sport etc
