Re: Short Term Internet

Use any restaurant or pub as they all have free internet, and if you are lucky you will pick up free wifi where you are staying.

If you have your own place and want internet by the month there is a system that allows you to do this. The person is on Facebook Nevzat Kayali if you want to contact him and check out.

Hi
I have got this system, it's been running over a month, and it is great, very fast, good after sale service, any trouble, just call Navzat and he will be out straight away to sort it out.
Two of my friends got it installed a few weeks ago, and they are very happy with it.
The cost is as follows;
350 TL for the setup including one month access to the wifi
30 TL for every month usage
It will stop when you stop the payment and restart as soon as you start the monthly payment again

Thanks for the info
I've had a look on facebook and there are dozens of Nevzat Kayali's, none of which give any indication that he's the one I want.
Can you be more specific at all? Where is he from? Maybe he has an email address and I can contact him that way? Thanks for any more help.

As for this system does anyone know how this works? Is it somehow still using TTNET's connection to the house? Sounds great but my place is near Side, is that a problem??
Thanks
Martin

Thanks Ted
I'm curious to know how this system works. Does it use TTNET's wiring/equipment? or is it something completely different?

What type of installation is it, is it hard-wired from a dish to a modem or wi-fi from a dish,?

Thanks.

Re: Short Term Internet

It has nothing to do with existing equipment, it is a completeley fresh install and has no dish
It is a small receiver on the roof (about the size of an iphone, but thicker), from this there is a wire very neatly run down the outside of the building and a hole drilled through the wall , the wire passed through and connected up to a very small power supply ....from one of the two outputs on this power supply a transformer voltage is sent back up the cable to power the receiver ,From the other output, an ethernet cable runs to a modem which then gives wireless wifi ......I have had it for a couple of weeks now and it really is unlimited (not bad for £2.50 per week after installation, which costs a one off £87.50)
Any teething problems are quickly answered and sorted and he even calls round to collect each months rental of the system . I can suspend it at any time by PM ing him on existing equipment, it's a completeley fresh installand start it up anytime, so brilliant for holidaymakers
