as stated in the title... we moved from an old apartment to a new one in (antakya) and we requested that they move our internet line to the new place... in a week they came and did some cable work but the internet service wasn't working... the username and password and router and everything is there but the internet itself ........ its been a month and a half now and we still have 1.5 year of contract and we still have to pay our monthly fee with no internet available so it sucks..... please help!

Re: TTNET line moving issue

First of all, is the telephone line contract through Turk Telecom and is your phone working or is it just a data line arranged through TTnet?

i don't know if the telephone line is working as we don't use a telephone in our apartment so i think its a data line through ttnet .... i shoould mention that before moving in the old apartment we had TTNET line working for like months (6-8 approx) so i am guessing its ttnet only... idk how does it work after the merging so please bear with me

Re: TTNET line moving issue

If you telephone 444 0 375 from a landline, then I think the message says press 99 for English, the 24/7 helpline should be able to help you. The standard of English is very good by the way.

You can probably ring from mobile but I have never used one.

I am on a WiFi system now so not telephoned for quite a while but I imagine the helpline is still working the same.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Just looked on their web site: Telefon ile İletişim 444 0 375 / 0212 707 04 14 numaralı TTNET Müşteri Hizmetleri üzerinden 7 gün 24 saat.

So ring the 0212 707 04 14 from a mobile should get you through.

Re: TTNET line moving issue

They are a bu99er with their contracts. I know it does not help you but is it any wonder people are joining the WiFi networks.

Reminds me of the old BT in the UK and their complacency.

heck their internet service to us was so bad in our old apartment the best download speed we had was 1.2 MB/s and thats rare! most of the time it was 150/ KB/s lol! but now i am begging for it because its unbearable ... i mean come on! we have to pay 250 TL to freeze our line...we have to pay whats left of our months to break the contract.... we have to still pay our monthly fee for a non existing service...black mailing at its finest lol

Is there any way you could revoke the contract on the grounds that they are not supplying you with what was either ordered or quoted?
