Sunexpress

Sunexpress has been mentioned on a few threads. I'm booked to travel with them on 7th April now.

Has anyone else actually travelled with them?

Re: Sunexpress

Sunexpress is the carrier that flies from Exeter to Antalya, my partner flew with them and she had no problems.

My father flew LGW to Antalya a while ago, was originally booked with Flythomascook, but they changed to Sun Express(Same company) late both ways, cold and really BAD food, only 1 toilet working and very rude staff. Certainly would'nt use them again.

oh dear

I read somewhere else that this was a jv between THY and Lufthansa though. Can anyone confirm that?

ah, just found this while looking for their website:-

From the very begining back in 1989, SunExpress has applied the same high standards for engineering and operational services as it's founders - Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines: today Lufthansa shares are held by Condor/Thomas Cook.

How did you do your booking telephone or online because I am having problems with the online payment. They have taken payment for 2 reservations but they have no details of the online booking.

I booked it via lastminute.com. Others have commented that the Stansted to Izmir flight doesnt appear on the sunexpress website

Re: Sunexpress

I could sit and cry. Sunexpress have taken 3 payments from my bank account and I only have confirmation for one booking. I am getting nowhere with them, if I try to call it either cuts me off or nonone can understand what I am talking about. I have spoken to my online banking and until it is showing on my statement who has requested the payments there is nothing I can do. I wish I had never bothered booking with them. The flights and times are good but the customer after sales service leaves a lot to be desired. If anyone else is having similar problems let me know. I am at my wits end! It is not as if it is a few pounds to total amount is over £800!

Re: Sunexpress

Yes I have filled in a form but I will fill in another one and ask them to call me back. I have spoken to the bank and they will recover the money on my behalf if necessary but they say I have to wait until it is showing on my account who the money is paid to! Not a very happy bunny at the moment.
