Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
Full report on the cruise when Rik and myself return.
BUT, can anyone please help with information on port parking whilst on the Easycruise. Is parking available and at what charge, this info would be a fantastic help as we will be driving down.

Hi Terry. We are travelling to Bodrum by coach and going straight to the ship. On our return we will stay overnight in Gumbet and then coach back to Antalya. You have my Mobile No. so give me a bell when you are on board. As Terry says full report ( well almost ) on our return.

Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
For those that are interested we are back from the cruise. It was a great time in nice cabins and we met up with Steve & Sue from Turgurtres ( spelling ). Terry and his Mrs were a No Show so we don't know what happened to him.Anyway we left Bodrum and first port of call was Kos. Stayed overnight and arrived in Samos late afternoon the following day. Sailed at 02-00 hours for Mykonos where we arrived at 09-00 hours.Next port of call was Paros and we left at Midnight for Athens. From Athens we sailed to Syros and then to Kalymnos. From there it was back to Bodrum and a night in a Hotel in Gumbet before we caught the bus back to Antalya.
Check out was a nightmare, wrong bills and long time to get off the boat. They need to do something pretty quickly about this.Apart from this Mrs RIK had no complaints and the Islands of Paros and Kalymnos were the best.
Would we do it again ? No I don't think so.Not because we did not enjoy it but you can take a Turkish Cruise from Kuş that visits the Islands that we didn't see.Next time I would do the Kuş cruise.EasyCruise was very good and considering that we only paid for booze and food it was cheap.
For anybody that wants to go I would say do it. The Greek Islands are Super and the great man Stelios came onboard in Athens. He didn't buy me and Steve a drink but he did for some others.

Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
So how long did you spent at the Islands Rik, did you set foot on any of them or just view them from the ship.
I take it your talking about mr & mrs Cocks not turning up, i wondered where Terry had disapperaed to.

Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
Hi Andy.We had quite a lot of time on each of the Islands and also Athens.Athens cost me a fortune as my Mrs went shopping for Gold and ' of course ' I had to pay. Great holiday and really not to be missed. Long coach journey from Antalya to Bodrum but worth it.Steve and Sue from the forum only had to go to Turbo charged ( or whatever it's called ) so they got home pretty quick.

Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
Hi Rik, Just got back fromTurkey after five weeks there. Went on the easy-cruise and agree with all you've said. Enjoyed every minute of it. By the way have you noticed how the prices have shot up just lately? Do you have any details of the Turkish cruise you mentioned?

Re: Easycruise comes to Bodrum
Hi Philb. The Antalya Council are going to open up and drop the docking charges for cruise liners into Antalya. They estimate that by 2010 they will have around 60,000 tourists to spend money in Antalya.Tui ( Thomson Holidays ) Germany have a cruise ship that calls here every week and as we live in Turkey we have to book through Tui Germany.not going to do anything this year as we are all booked up but next year, I will give it a go.
