baggage charges
can anyone tell me how much you are charged per kilo over your limit

It's usually around £4.00 a kilo.

Usually about £4 per kilo at the airport, but if you ring the carrier prior to flying it's often possible to pre-book excess baggage at half the price.

we were charged £4 per kilo last year for our excess baggage
that was with excelair .. steve

Most charge £4 a kilo but turkish airlines charge £6
