Re: Turkey plane crashes in Amsterdam

Plane is 5 years old and had oficial safety inspection December 2008. One passenger said plane broke into three pieces and he was able to walk straight off plane thru one of the cracks.

Re: Turkish plane crashes in Amsterdam

Sky news says the plane crashed while attempting to land at Schipol. Now saying that Dutch TV reporting five dead. Sky say they can't confirm whether that's true.

Most of the news reports I've read have said that there were no fatalities - let's just hope that's true.

Here's a link to Hurriyet with the most recent news.

HÜRRİYET - ENGLISH

Apparently the plane didn't crash, but 'landed short of the runway' !

Let's hope all are ok and there are no fatalities; reporting is unclear about this.
