Ryanair scrapping check in desks

Apparently Ryanair flights are to become online check in only. And this means that your maximum baggage will be just one peice of hand luggage at 10kg!!

And before the ladies start getting idea's about stuffing extra stuff in their handbags, think again because when Ryanair say one peice only they mean ONE. You'll be told to put your handbag, along with duty free and anything else you might have INSIDE the suitcase. If you can't do that they'll charge you 30 for your handbag

Should be interesting, 10kg of luggage for a two week holiday

As if we would try to cram more stuff than really need in to our baggage, lol. I could manage now with 10kg as most of the things I need are in our Apt, but would find 10kg difficult for 2 weeks holiday!!!!!

Re: Ryanair scrapping check in desks

I heard that RyanAir are also getting rid of most of their baggage handlers, hence the reason for the online baggage check in.

I guess they'll save on fuel with all the acres of space in their baggage holds!

I can't imagine either going away for 2 weeks with just 10kg of luggage.

So we wait with bated breath for Ryanair to come to Turkey? Or for Easyjet to follow their lead?:

Charging for the toilets, surely this would have an adverse result on their in flight drink sales and consumption at the airport.
