As most folks on this forum are likely to use the internet to book flight tickets, I thought this wee article might be of interest.

We almost got caught out by this scam recently when booking tickets with another well known budget carrier. The simple act of deleting the cookies dropped the fares back to the original one quoted when they had risen by about 24GBP each way in 10 minutes.
I thought I would give this a try with a couple of other direct booking sites but didn't come up with anything conclusive. The experience we had may have been coincidental but its a tactic to bear in mind when booking over the 'net.
