How to beat excess baggage charge.

1) keep suitcase to the allowance.

2) Keep hand luggage to allowance.

3) Use a trolley to go up to check in desk and hang on the hook under the pushbar a carrier bag with your "extra", like you do with your handbag, they can't see this, as the counter is to high, you're in the way, and the advert boarding is inthe way. (men: u do not need to purchase a handbag for this.)

4) After checking in, put "extra" from carrier bag into hand luggage and continue to customs and passport, who don't give a t*ss about the weight just what you have in your bag.

5) Instead of carrier bag, and you being taken to airport by friend, get friend to hold "extras" until you are booked in, or go back to car and get "extras".

Thousands of people do this all the time, next time you are in the queue look around and you'll see this done often, or you can just stuff your pockets full of the heavy items then put them in your hand luggage.

Dips - do you also have lots of different pockets on the inside of the coat that you can fill up too? I can imagine you walking around with a hidden distillery.

This is on the way out from UK, just loads of household items we're moving over to Turkey. We sold a property in UK and have double of everything, and i'm to tight to pay for it all again for another house when we have two of everything here in UK. You ever tried getting a DVD player in your pocket?? next on list, toaster, crockery, nan's vase.........
