Can anyone recommend a good coach company to travel from Antalya to Izmir? I have found a couple but the websites are all in Turkish to booking something might be a bit of a long process

Kamil Koc and Ulusoy are two other good companies.

Re: Antalya - Izmir Coach

Hi pbrown77,

Welcome to the forum.

These are three of the better coach firms imo.

:::Pamukkale Turizm::::
Use the above link then click on "sefer sorgulma"

Or Kâmil Koç Otobüsleri A.Ş.
Click on "Online bilet" then select Kalkis (departure/from), Varis (destination) and Tarih (date). Its 40tl one way (on-line booking) and their is a choice of seats, nos 3 & 4 are best (1 & 2 are behind driver). Different on the 3 seat wide coaches.

Or Varan Tourism Website partly in English.
Robin.

Re: Antalya - Izmir Coach

Thanks guys. Kamil Koc looks like the best one time wise.

We're actually going to Cesme but I guess it's just a case of getting the Dolmus from Izmir.

Re: Antalya - Izmir Coach

You can book through to Alacati, Ilica or the Otogar for an extra 15tl. You arrive Izmir Otogar on the upper level and leave from the ground level.

Re: Antalya - Izmir Coach

I've noticed you cannot book a male and female seat together...are they strict on this when you actually sit down assuming it's not busy?

Re: Antalya - Izmir Coach

They were not strict with us , We always sit together , If they see you are together when you board the coach , This is more for Turkish ladies who believe that its wrong to sit next to a man they do not know , ...But i didn't notice any problems ....Diane
