Flights & Car Hire

Hi Everyone very quiet here isnt it?? well I just booked our second trip this year mine for 64 days in August/October and karens for 24 days Sept/Oct mine was only £239.06 in total with meals, Karens was £193.06 so really good. I do like that web site www.flythomascook.com its easy to use and you book outward and inward seperate which is brilliant! Now then to my query?? as I'm going to be in Altinkum for 64 days does any one know someone who will do me a good deal on a car rental for that period??? My name aint Rockerfella so sensible prices please? I'd buy one but you have to have so many forms etc and be resident which isnt on our agenda this year! Hope some nice person knows a man that can?
Cheers
Duke

Love & Peace to All

Keep the Faith

Hi Duke.
If you want a good car rental it will cost. Isat at oracle travel is probably one of the cheapest, his cars are a bit older. We have just booked for 6th june for 28 days at £253 each which is not bad. Michelle got hers for £146 one way. these were with flythomascook, but i had to do it by phone as, i could not progress it on the net and just got the page unavailable every time.

Yes Big E I had the same problem but they gave me £5 off anyway so I was well pleased too, I just wish I could get around this car business. I have lots of people who will take me places but I want to have a sneaky peek outside town on my own to see just WHAT is available....If you know what I mean? See you in June then? Karen gets in around 20.30pm so I will be at Bodrum about 19.30pm at the snack bar outside is Serkan meeting you?

Duke have you tried mass emailing the local emlaks saying that you just want a run of the mill Sahin car to rent, let them know for long term rental and see what comes back as they can't usually rent these out to the tourist, it may be worth a try. bit like driving a tank but gets from A-B and if you take a good run at the mountain can usually do it with only changing 1 gear, unless you come across a dolmus or another Sahin with a Turkish family of 10 inside. Go for it tell them want you want they want your money they will soon respond.
