Re: Public transport to and From the Airport
We got it from outside the internation arrivals door and we purchased our tickets from the driver of the bus. It took us to the bus station in Bodrum. We did not get it back to the airport as our estate agent runs a service too. You could ask the driver where it returns from? You will need to ask this in Turkish!

Any idea what time of the day it runs from - to?
I understood it runs to meet internal flights, and isn't available during the night when the flights from Belfast and Dublin get in.
Any one know for sure?
Cheers!

Re: Public transport to and From the Airport
Thinking/hoping to save cash by booking on a shuttle bus via an airport transfer site, we were horrified to discover that the cost from Dalaman airport to the Fethiye area, was £48.56 one way..thats not even with the "relative" comfort of a taxi, which advertise around the £40 mark one way. Still pretty steep by taxi, but faster and a personal service. At prices like these, how can airport shuttle buses hope to be assured of any regular returning customers? Airport transfers are a necessary evil for many of us, and I would have thought a shuttle bus should be a cheaper if slower option.
To the point... does anyone know of a good reasonable mini-bus or similar transport to and from Dalaman? That would under-cut a taxi's charge? I appreciate petrol has gone up, but really.....
Recently we decided to book a return transfer using the local taxi company. We got a written quote of 120 lira return, for the car plus 2 passengers, very good we thought. End of the return journey, the driver tried to ask another 60 lira on top, as he said he had not realised it would cost him so much! We didn't pay, as they had agreed the price in advance, their own quote by the way! Thanks, if anyone can help!
