I am thinking of spending about 3 weeks discovering the area around Altinkum.... Would like to rent a villa to sleep 4, not too remote, anyone got any recommendations?

Muahtaq, what sort of place are you looking for, I can ask Nazim if he knows of any available and the prices, I guess you don't wish to be in the centre of Altinkum but aslo not to far away. I will be there myself for three weeks at the begining of August, perhaps we could meet up for a beer.

I am looking for a villa, to get a feel for the place, I might want to employ a local lady to cook for us while we are there, is that possible?

I think the place should be comfortable, a pool would be a bonus...

I am looking to see what it would be like living there for long periods of time, I dont want to be in the centre of the tourist area, but not too far from shops etc. too. is this too much to ask?

Flight are reasonable if you can wait until about 2 weeks priot to departure. I have been looking for 3 weeks in August and most charter flights only offer two weeks, they maybe one or two but not many. Scheduled flights via Istanbul at at the £300 mark, a little too expensive.

I usually check out on www.cheapflights.co.uk, www.a1travel.com and www.goldtrail.co.uk.

Not sure about the cook lol but I guess there is always someone looking for employment albeit very short.

Will ask for any ideas.

Mushtaq why have a cook when there are so many great places to eat in Altinkum?Regarding 21 night flights when we were going to do that in August the best prices we got were with excel air but my travel were not that more expensive,we are there in August also.
Paul..any further forward with the plans for some villa's?

Yvonne is back out there and I have asked her to get some information for you, we have purchased the land , it is further bach from the oracle apts but not sure what we are building on there yet. looks like it may be 2 bedroom duplexes and 2 bedroom apts woth communal pool of about 50m2
